What Suviy is
Suviy is a news aggregator: this website and an Android app with one shared account. It is made by an independent developer, with no parent company, investors or political or commercial sponsors. Reading is free; the service is funded by advertising, and advertisers have no say in what we show.
Suviy is not a publisher and has no newsroom. We do not write or edit the news: the articles belong to their publishers, and every one links to the original.
How it works
Collection. Suviy regularly collects new articles from the publishers on its source list — the public feeds and pages of news outlets in several countries and languages.
Stories. Articles about the same event are grouped into a story automatically. The grouping compares what the articles are about — the people, places and topics they name — rather than their wording, so reports in different languages can meet in one story. A story page shows which countries cover the event, how many articles each has published and how the coverage unfolded, with every article linked to its source.
Sections and order. Each article is sorted into a section automatically. No one picks the news by hand: the pages follow rules that are the same for every visitor — how fresh a story is, how widely it is covered, and the language and region of the page. Signed-in readers can also have a personal feed shaped by the topics and sources they choose.
Translation and summaries. On request, Suviy translates an article or summarises it with AI. Such texts are always labelled, may contain errors and never replace the original.
Why
The same event can look very different from different countries. Suviy is for people who read the news across languages and borders — and for anyone who wants to see how a story is told elsewhere, without a language barrier.
